So this mech is supposed to fulfill #9, Drive, on my 100 Word Art Meme. The problem is, I don't know what to call it. Oh well.
I wrote a little profile for it, but it contains spoilers for Episode 17 of Gundam 00 Season 2. If you don't care about Gundam 00, have seen this episode, or don't mind spoilers, then by all means read on and God bless you. :'D
History
Four years after its supposed destruction, the seemingly all-powerful terrorist group Celestial Being returned to wreck havoc on the Earth. While the group immediately focused its attacks on the A-LAWS peacekeeping organization, some members of the Federation felt it would only be a matter of time before they returned to performing "armed interventions" on military bases and weapons manufacturers. Inspired by the Gundam 00, the designers equipped the new machine with multiple GN Drives, believing (incorrectly) that its incredible performance was achieved by using one drive to power weapons and another drive to power movement. Thus, this new machine was equipped with two drives, one on each shoulder in the style of the GN Flag that briefly sortied, but the performance did not increase enough to justify continued development. When the Innovator suits Gadessa and Garazzo were planned, new life was given to this unit. A third GN Drive was added and a new variable power rifle based on the Gadessa GN Mega Launcher and a shield based Garazzo's GN Field were created that would draw their power from their own GN Drives. The result was a machine that had performance almost equal to an Ahead and the firepower and defenses of a Gundam. Since this was a project intended for the standard Federation forces, it was ended immediately by A-LAWS after Hank Hercules, a Federation colonel whose troops had many GN-X IIIs, initiated a takeover of the African solar tower. It was reasoned that if Federation officers were considering rebellion against the peacekeeping forces, they shouldn't be given any MS equipped with GN Drives. Before this prototype could be seized though, agents of Hank Hercules spirited it off to agents of the Kataron organization, who were glad to receive such a machine but uneasy about using it since it would be extremely difficult to repair it since it was a one-of-a-kind suit that used many exotic components.
Apology accepted. You ever decide you want to ask for a request again, feel free to. Just say what the request is so I can figure out if I can do it or not.
